10.10.3. Removal, dismantling and installation of screenwash

It will be required to you: the screw-driver with a flat edge, a cap key "on 10", a face head "on 10".
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Hook the screw-driver decorative caps of nuts of fastening of levers of a screen wiper …
3. … also remove caps.
4. Turn off on several turns of a nut of fastening of levers.
5. Close a cowl and it is accurate, having lifted levers up and shaking them up-down not to damage a paint and varnish covering of a cowl, break the lever from shliyets.
6. Lower levers in a starting position, open a cowl, finally turn off nuts of fastening and remove levers together with brushes.

Levers of screen wipers from the driver and the passenger differ on length and therefore are not interchangeable. Do not mix levers in places at installation them on the car.

7. Remove facings of a frame of a windshield (see. "Removal and installation of overlays of a frame of a windshield").
8. Wring out a clamp …
9. … also separate a block of a plait of wires of a screen wiper and a forward plait of wires of the car.
10. Turn out two nuts of fastening of a trapeze of a screen wiper …
11. … a bolt of fastening of an arm of a motor-reducer to a body …
12. … also remove a screen wiper, having slightly turned it up.

So the screen wiper assembled looks.

13. Turn off a fastening nut …
14. … also remove a lead from the motor-reducer roller.
15. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a motor-reducer …
16. … also remove it from an arm.

So the screen wiper motor-reducer removed from a fastening arm looks.

17. Remove draft from the spherical hinge of a crank on the one hand …
18. … having hooked the screw-driver if there is not enough effort of hands …
19. … also remove draft on the other side of a crank.
20. Replace the epiploons of spherical hinges which cracked or lost elasticity.
21. Put new jellied lubricant in screen wiper trapeze hinges.
22. Collect and establish a screen wiper as it should be, the return to removal.
