10.11.2. Check and replacement of the pump with the electric motor

If from a washer liquid does not arrive, check an electric motor power-supply circuit safety lock. If the safety lock is serviceable, check a power-supply circuit of the electric motor and directly the electric motor.
You will need the screw-driver with a flat edge.
1. Remove the rechargeable battery (see. "Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery").
2. Disconnect blocks with wires from washer pump electric motor conclusions.
3. Connect electric motor conclusions to a source of a direct current of 12 V. If the electric motor does not work or the pump does not give liquid, replace it assembled with the electric motor.
4. Remove the pump, having accurately taken out it from a tank.
5. Having hooked the screw-driver …
6. … remove a pump sealant. Replace the rubber sealant of the pump torn or lost elasticity. Install the pump as it should be, the return to removal.
