10.19.2. Training of keys of an immobilizator

For activation of anticreeping function carry out the procedure of training of an immobilizator. After full implementation of all procedure of training:
– in EBU of a control system of the engine anticreeping function will be activated if it was not activated yet;
– the system will change the password on new, chosen in a random way;
– in the training key the new password of system will be written down;
– from memory information on all earlier trained working keys will be erased;
– in memory codes of those working keys which were trained in this procedure of training will be brought.
The procedure of training of an immobilizator is applied in the following cases:
– for activation of anticreeping function in EBU (for example, on the new car or when replacing faulty EBU);
– at loss of working keys for deleting of information on old working keys and for training of new;
– for change of the password of system if the owner assumes that the password could be считан (for example, at sale of the car by one owner to another);
– when replacing a faulty immobilizator new to training of working keys.

Note
Training only of two working keys is provided in system. It is possible to train only new working keys (i.e. those which were not trained by other immobilizator) or those which were trained by means of the training key used in this procedure of training before. It is possible to train working keys only together with EBU in which anticreeping function, or from subjects EBU which was trained together with the training key used in this procedure of training is not activated.

For training of a key of an immobilizator it is necessary to execute the following.
1. Close all doors of the car. Include ignition the training key and wait for not less than 6 pages.
2. Switch off ignition. The control lamp has to begin to blink with the increased frequency (5 times a second) all the time while the procedure of training is correctly performed. The termination of a bystry blinking of a lamp means the wrong action, excess of time provided for implementation of the procedure of training or malfunction. Take out the training key from the ignition lock.
3. While the control lamp blinks (about 6 c), insert a working key into the lock and include ignition. If everything is made correctly, the buzzer will give three signals at the time of inclusion of ignition.
4. Wait with the included ignition (about 6 c) when the buzzer gives two more sound signals. If through 6 from sound signals is not, and the bystry blinking of a control lamp will stop, switch off ignition and start the procedure over again. If repeatedly it is not possible to finish the procedure of training, so there was a malfunction or the furnished working clue was already trained by other immobilizator.
5. Switch off ignition.

Note
If it is necessary to train the second working key, execute once again operations 3-5, including ignition the second trained working key. If there is no such need, continue the procedure of training.

6. During a blinking of a control lamp (about 6 c) take out the trained working key from the ignition lock, insert again training key into the lock and include ignition. If everything is made correctly, the buzzer will give three signals at the time of inclusion of ignition.
7. Wait with the included ignition (about 6 c) giving by a buzzer of two more sound signals.
8. Switch off ignition, but do not take out the training key from the ignition lock. Approximately through 6 from later switching off of ignition the buzzer has to give one sound signal, and the control lamp has to begin to blink with the doubled frequency.

Note
If the buzzer did not give a sound signal, and the bystry blinking of a lamp stopped, then it is necessary to switch off ignition and to start the procedure of training over again. If repeatedly it is not possible to finish the procedure of training, so there was a malfunction or this training key does not approach this EBU.

9. Not later than through 6 from later sound signal (the lamp still quickly blinks) include ignition the same training key. Having waited 2–3 with, switch off ignition. Not later than through 5 from later switching off of ignition the buzzer has to give three signals, and the bystry blinking of a control lamp has to stop. Do not include ignition of at least 10 more pages.

Note
During the work with some controllers the termination of a blinking of a lamp and giving as a buzzer of three signals happens already at inclusion of ignition. In this case all the same it is necessary to switch off ignition and to wait for not less than 10 pages.

Upon termination of the procedure of training repeated synchronization of codes of an immobilizator and EBU as at the end of the procedure of training of EBU can not allow to launch the engine at the first inclusion of ignition can be required. For carrying out repeated synchronization of codes include ignition any trained key (it is desirable for workers). Sustain a pause of 6 pages. If the control lamp of an immobilizator began to display a wrong condition of system (to blink once in a second), switch off ignition and wait for not less than 10 pages. After that include ignition again. The lamp should not blink, and the engine has to begin to work.
If through 3 from later inclusion of ignition the control lamp burns constantly, so the EBU anticreeping function is not activated and the procedure of training should be repeated again.
