2.1.3. Recommendations about traffic safety

Style of driving and convenience of landing of the driver influence safety degree therefore carry out the following:
– be surely fastened by a seat belt even if you drive the car in the city;
– be convinced that all passengers, even on back seats, are fastened by seat belts. The passengers who are not fastened by seat belts in case of accident endanger themselves, the driver and other passengers;
– for transportation of small children aged up to 12 years use special children's chairs in which the child is reliably fixed concerning a chair, and a chair — concerning the car;
– adjust the driver's seat so that it was possible to reach any governing body;
– be convinced of free movement of all pedals;
– you do not take the wheel in state of intoxication. Alcohol intake, drugs and some medical supplies negatively affects sense organs, the speed of reaction of the person, his driver's abilities and increases risk of creation of an emergency and getting injured;
– you do not take the wheel if you feel fatigue. Stop for rest more often (at least in each 2 h);
– conduct the car with a speed, the corresponding intensity of the movement, weather and road conditions. Remember that controllability of the car, its brake qualities to a large extent depend on coupling of tires with a paving. Sections of roads with newly-laid asphalt are very dangerous. On the wet road there can be an effect of hydroplaning, in this case total loss of controllability is possible;
– observe indications of signs of restriction of speed.
