4.2.5. Check of technical condition of details of a forward suspension bracket on the car

At each maintenance according to requirements of manufacturer check a condition of elements of a forward suspension bracket, paying special attention to lack of mechanical damages of protective covers of spherical support of a suspension bracket.

You carry out all checks and works from below the car installed on the elevator or an osmotrovy ditch (with the hung-out forward wheels).

Check a condition of rubber-metal hinges, rubber pillows, spherical support of a suspension bracket and a condition (draft) of the top support of telescopic racks of a suspension bracket.

Especially carefully check whether is not present on details of a suspension bracket of cracks or traces of a zadevaniye against road obstacles or a body, deformation of levers, extensions, bars of the stabilizer and its racks, body front details in places of fastening of knots and details of a suspension bracket.

Rubber-metal hinges and rubber pillows are subject to replacement at gaps and a unilateral vypuchivaniye of rubber, and also when cutting their face surfaces.
On rubber details of a suspension bracket are not allowed:
– rubber aging signs;
– mechanical damages.
On rubber-metal hinges (saylentblok) are not allowed:
– signs of aging, crack, unilateral vypuchivaniye of the rubber massif;
– lead of the rubber massif over fittings.
Replace faulty details.

The arrangement of the checked elements of a forward suspension bracket is shown in fig. 4.2.

Useful tips
When rocking of the hung-out forward wheel it is difficult to distinguish a side play in bearings of naves and in spherical support. Ask the assistant to press a pedal of a brake and if in this case feel a side play, spherical support are faulty.

Examine the following main places from below of the car.
1. Protective covers of spherical support.
2. Rubber-metal hinges of an extension of the lower levers back …
3. … and lobbies.
4. Rubber-metal hinges of racks of the stabilizer of cross stability.
5. Rubber-metal hinges of the lower levers.
6. Rubber massifs of pillows of a bar of the stabilizer on a body longeron.
7. Telescopic racks. Begin to flow damping liquid and "sweating" are not allowed.

For check of spherical support substitute a support under the lower lever.

During the work on the elevator be careful: do not drop the car, lowering it on a support.

8. For check of spherical support implant an assembly shovel between the lower lever and a rotary fist and move its free end up-down. If movement of a fist concerning the lever is felt, in a support the gap and it needs to be replaced.
9. Repeat check for hinges from the opposite side. Remove a support from under the car.
