5.15.1. Dismantling of the engine

Install the washed-up and cleared engine on the stand for dismantling or on a strong massive support and merge oil from a case (if it was not made before removal of the power unit).
It will be required to you: keys "on 8", "on 10", "on 13", "on 17", heads replaceable "on 10", "on 13", "on 17", keys for bolts with an internal hexagon "on 5", TORX E10 key, a neck, passatizh, the screw-driver, a set of flat probes, micrometers (with limits of measurements of 0-25, 25-50 and 75–100 mm), a nutromer, the indicator of hour type with an indicator rack, a dynamometer key, a stripper for removal of an oil filter.

If there is an opportunity, work at the special rotary stand providing access to the engine from all directions as it is very heavy to fix the engine from movement at an otvorachivaniye of the details of fastening tightened the big moment.

1. Remove the engine from the car (see. "Removal and installation of the engine").
2. Install the engine on strong support.
3. Disconnect the transmission from the engine (see. "Removal and installation of the transmission").
4. Remove a head of the block of cylinders (see. "Replacement of laying of a head of the block of cylinders").
5. A key "on 13" turn out three bolts of fastening of an arm of a forward support of the power unit to the block of cylinders …
6. … also remove an arm.
7. Remove an oil filter (see. "Replacement of oil in the engine and an oil filter").
8. A key "on 10" turn out two bolts of fastening of the bringing pipe of the pump of cooling liquid to the block of cylinders …
9. … also remove a pipe …
10. … and sealing laying.
11. At assembly of the engine establish new sealing laying.
12. Remove the water pump and sealing laying (see. "Replacement of the water pump").
13. A key "on 8" turn out six bolts of fastening of coupling to a flywheel …
14. … also remove coupling.
15. Mark a relative positioning of a flywheel and a bent shaft.
16. A head "on 17" turn out six bolts of fastening of a flywheel …
17. … also remove a flywheel.
18. A key "on 10" turn out sixteen bolts of fastening of an oil case …
19. … also remove an oil case together with sealing laying.
20. A key "on 10" turn out three bolts of fastening of an oil receiver …
21. … also remove an oil receiver.

Pay attention: in a pro-point of a branch pipe of the receiver the rubber sealing ring is established. Surely replace strongly pressed out, hardened or torn ring.

22. Hook two screw-drivers …
23. … also remove the cogged pulley from a sock of a bent shaft.
24. Take out a spline from a groove on a sock of a bent shaft.
25. A key "on 10" turn out six bolts of fastening of the oil pump and remove the pump.
26. A key "on 10" turn out six bolts of fastening of the holder of a back epiploon of a bent shaft …
27. … also remove the holder with the epiploon established in him …
28. … and sealing laying.
29. Turn a bent shaft so that the removed piston was in LDP (lower dead point). A key of TORX E10 turn off two bolts of fastening of a cover of a rod.
30. Uncover a rod. If dismantle of a cover is complicated, previously shift it weak blows of the hammer. Number of the cylinder on a cover can be not visible, in this case mark a cover number of the cylinder.
31. Push a rod the hammer handle in the cylinder …
32. … and carefully take out the piston with a rod from the cylinder. At the same time you watch that the lower head of a rod did not concern a cylinder mirror, otherwise it is possible to damage a mirror. Similarly remove other pistons.

If it is supposed to remove the piston from a rod, mark the piston number of the cylinder not to mix pistons at installation. On a rod as well as on a cover, number of the cylinder is beaten out; if he is not visible, mark a rod.

33. A key "on 17" turn out two bolts of a bolt of fastening of five covers of radical bearings …
34. … also uncover.

Covers of radical bearings are marked by notches according to numbers of cylinders. If these tags are badly visible, surely in addition mark covers to establish them on former places: covers are not interchanged (the block of cylinders is processed together with covers).

35. Remove a bent shaft.
36. Remove the persistent half rings established in pro-points of an average support of a bent shaft.
37. Take out inserts from covers of radical bearings …
38. … and block beds. If replacement of inserts is not supposed, at removal mark on the non-working party inserts concerning covers and beds.
39. Remove piston rings a special stripper. If it is absent, remove rings from the piston, having accurately parted locks of rings.
40. Having inserted the screw-driver into dredging on a piston lug …
41. … remove the lock ring holding a piston finger. Similarly remove the second clumsy ring.
42. By means of a suitable mandrel push out a finger from the piston and remove the piston from a rod.
43. Take out inserts from a rod …
44. … and from its cover. If inserts remained on cranked to a shaft, remove them from a shaft. If replacement of inserts is not supposed, at removal mark them on a non-working surface concerning rods and covers.
