5.16.3. Repair of the oil pump
It will be required to you: a key "on 10", keys hexagons "on 5" and "on 8", two screw-drivers, a caliper, a micrometer.
1. Remove the oil pump from the car (see. "Removal and installation of the oil pump").
2. A key "on 10" turn out a bolt of fastening of the sensor of provision of a bent shaft …

3. … also remove the sensor.

4. A six-sided key "on 5" turn out six bolts of fastening of a cover of the pump.
|
5. By means of two screw-drivers raise a pump housing so that adjusting pins on a cover left openings in the case, and remove a pump housing from a cover.
|
8. A six-sided key "on 8" turn out a stopper of the reducing valve. Pay attention that under a stopper the aluminum sealing ring is established. Replace strongly pressed out ring.

9. Take out a spring of the reducing valve.
|
10. Take out the reducing valve, having carefully knocked with a cover about a pure wooden board. If the valve does not leave, take out it by means of the pointed wooden stick.
|
11. Examine a cover. In a zone of a prileganiye of gear wheels on it there should not be noticeable wear tracks, zadir and deep scratches. Otherwise replace a cover.
|
12. Examine a pump housing. On its working surfaces there should not be noticeable wear tracks, zadir and deep scratches. Otherwise replace the case.
|
13. Measure diameter of a nest of the conducted gear wheel in a pump housing. Maximum permissible diameter is 75,1 mm. If the size exceeds specified, replace the case.
|
14. Measure pump housing segment width in a middle part. If width less than 3,4 mm, replace the case.
|
15. Measure thickness of the leading gear wheel. If it less than 7,42 mm, replace a gear wheel.
|
16. Measure thickness of the conducted gear wheel. If it less than 7,35 mm, replace a gear wheel.
|
17. Check axial gaps of gear wheels. For this purpose establish the leading gear wheel in a cover, put a metal ruler on a cover and measure by the probe a gap between a ruler and a gear wheel.
|
18. Measure by the same way an axial gap of the conducted gear wheel. A maximum permissible axial gap of the leading gear wheel of 0,12 mm conducted – 0,15 mm. If gaps exceed specified, replace gear wheels.

19. More precisely axial gaps of gear wheels can be received calculation. For this purpose measure by a micrometer case thickness on external surfaces...
|
20.... and cover thickness in a nest zone under gear wheels in several places (on the milled surfaces). Calculate an axial gap as a difference of arithmetic-mean value of depth of a nest and thickness of gear wheels.
|
21. Examine a nest of the reducing valve. On its internal surface there should not be zadir and deep scratches. Otherwise replace the case.
|
22. Replace the reducing valve if on it there are teases and deep scratches.
|
23. Replace the bent, broken or burst spring of the reducing valve. Spring height in a free state has to make 44,72 mm, under load (4±0,24) kgfs – 31,7 mm. Otherwise replace a spring.
|
24. Establish the conducted gear wheel in a pump housing. Facets on teeths of a gear wheel have to be turned to the case.
|
25. Establish the leading gear wheel in a pump housing. Facets on teeths of a gear wheel have to be turned to the case.
|
26. Install the case on a cover and screw fastening bolts.
27. Oil engine the reducing valve and install it in a nest by a bottom down. Then establish a spring and wrap a stopper with a sealing ring.
|
28. Through an opening under an oil receiver fill in engine oil in the pump.
|
29. Turn pump gear wheels on several turns to grease their working surfaces.
