Coupling is one-disk, dry, constantly closed, with the central press spring of 11 (fig. 6.1, 6.3) and a quencher of tortional fluctuations on the conducted disk 7. The casing 3 couplings is attached to a flywheel by 6 six bolts 4, and is connected to a press disk 5 by three couples of elastic plates.

The coupling switching off drive hummock, bezzazorny (gaps in the drive are absent). The cable of 4 (fig. 6.2) of the drive of switching off of coupling is supplied with the mechanism of ratchet type intended for compensation of length during operation at wear of overlays of the conducted disk (adjustment of the drive in operation is not required).
The pedal of the 13th coupling is established in the arm 6 fixed on a front board, on an axis via two plastic plugs. The top part of a pedal is connected to the case of the mechanism of compensation of wear of overlays of the conducted clutch plate. The top tip of a cover of a cable is fixed on an arm of a pedal of coupling with the help of a lamellar emphasis, and the lower tip of a cable — in the arm established on a transmission case.
The plastic lead 1 (see fig. 6.1) the lower tip of a cable is connected to the lever 2 forks of switching off of coupling. The bearing 12 of switching off of coupling of the closed type also in use does not demand lubricant. The key parameter defining operation of the drive of switching off of coupling is the coupling pedal course against the stop in a body floor rug. The pedal course in operation is not regulated, it is provided with structurally serviceable mechanism of compensation of wear of overlays of the conducted clutch plate and the correct initial installation of a cable of the drive (see. "Replacement of a cable of the drive of switching off of coupling").

Useful tips
In order that coupling served long and smoothly, do not hold constantly a leg on a coupling pedal. This addiction is got often during driving instruction in driving schools for fear not to manage to switch off coupling during a car stop. Besides bystry fatigue of the leg which is all the time over a pedal, coupling appears though a little, but is squeezed out, and the conducted disk at the same time revolves and wears out. Besides, though the release bearing is also calculated on work in the mode of continuous rotation, at pressed even a little pedal it experiences the raised strain and its resource also decreases.
For the same reason we do not recommend to keep long coupling in the switched-off state (for example, in traffic jams). If it is not necessary to start at once, to include neutral position of the transmission better and to release a pedal.
It is easy to define pro-slipping of coupling by a tachometer. If during the movement by sharp pressing an accelerator pedal turns sharply grow, and then slightly fall and the car begins to accelerate, coupling demands repair.
