7.1.6. Replacement of the lever of a forward suspension bracket

It will be required to you: keys "on 17" (two), "on 19" (two), "on 24" (two).
1. Install the car on an osmotrovy ditch or lift and establish a forward part of the car on support. Remove a wheel.

Preventions
Slow down the car the parking brake and establish an antiretractable emphasis ("boots") under back wheels.
Weaken and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel only on the car standing on the earth. Moment of an inhaling of bolts of 65-95 N · m (6,5–9,5 kgfs · м).

2. Apply liquid of the WD-40 type on threaded connections of the lever.
3. Turn off a nut of fastening of a rack of the stabilizer to the lever, holding a bolt from a provorachivaniye, and take out a bolt.
4. Turn off a nut of fastening of an extension to the lever, holding a key an extension that it did not turn in rubber-metal hinges.
5. Remove a special washer.
6. Vypressuyte from the lever a finger of the spherical hinge (see. "Replacement of a spherical support").
7. Turn off a nut of fastening of the lever, holding a bolt from a provorachivaniye, remove a spring washer and take out a bolt.
8. Take out the end of the lever from an arm on a body and remove the lever from an extension.
9. Remove from an extension a special washer 2 and a package of adjusting washers 1, having counted their quantity (if they are established). Mark washers further to establish them on the same party of the lever.
10. Signs of wear of rubber-metal hinges of the lever are gaps and a unilateral vypuchivaniye of rubber, peeling of rubber from the metal plug.
For replacement of rubber-metal hinges of the lever the special tool and skill are required.
11. Install the new lever as it should be, the return to removal. Establish adjusting washers in the same quantity, and facets on their internal diameters have to be directed towards a persistent burt of an extension. Finally tighten threaded connections of a suspension bracket on the car standing on the earth. Having lowered the car on the earth, several times strongly rock it. Tighten nuts of fastening of the spherical hinge to the lever and fastenings of the lever to a body arm the moment of 80-96 N · m (8,0–9,6 kgfs · l), a nut of fastening of an extension to the lever the moment of 160-180 N · m (16,0–18,0 kgfs · l), a nut of fastening of a rack of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the lever the moment of 42-52 N · m (4,2–5,2 kgfs · м). After the run of 100 km once again tighten these threaded connections the specified moments.
