9.7.3. Removal and installation of the working cylinder of the forward brake mechanism

It will be required to you: keys "on 13", "on 15", "on 17", TORX E14 key.
1. Remove the corresponding wheel.
2. Take out from an arm on a suspension bracket rack a sealant of a brake hose.

Good advice
For prevention of an excessive effluence of brake fluid from a brake hose at its detachment from the working cylinder press a brake hose of a passatizhama, fixed in the compressed situation, having enclosed a piece of rubber under sponges.

3. A key "on 15" weaken a hose tip inhaling on the working cylinder.
4. Unbend short moustaches of lock washers...
5.... a key "on 13" turn out two bolts of fastening of a support, holding with the second key "on 17" the directing fingers for hexagons...
6.... also remove a support assembled with the working cylinder.

Note
Removal of the working cylinder assembled with a support is for descriptive reasons shown on the removed brake mechanism. It is possible to remove the working cylinder and at the brake mechanism installed on the car.

7. Holding a key "on 15" a hose tip for a hexagon, unscrew the working cylinder from a tip. Be careful: from a hose brake fluid will begin to flow.

Note
Pay attention that on a tip the copper sealing ring is established. Replace a ring at assembly.

8. A key of TORX E14 turn out two bolts of fastening of the cylinder to a support.
9. Remove the wheel cylinder from a support.
10. Check a condition of protective covers of the directing fingers. If there were rubber aging signs, replace protective covers.
11. Grease the directing fingers with UNIOL-1 lubricant.
12. Install the working cylinder as it should be, the return to removal.
13. Pump over a hydraulic actuator and check overall performance of the brake system (see. "Pumping of a hydraulic actuator of the brake system").
